Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Digital Age Parenting. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website digitalageparents.com and all related services offered by Digital Age Parenting, including our online courses, membership program, free resources, newsletter, and any other content or features we provide (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, subscribers, course purchasers, and members. Additional terms may apply to specific products or services, and those terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase or sign-up.

- Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our content, courses, or materials without our express written permission.
- Not access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the website, our computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of our providers.
- Not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Digital Age Parenting system or network.
- Not transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional material, or spam.
- Not impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

Our content is created to support parents — not to be resold or redistributed. Sharing paid course materials without authorization is a violation of these Terms and applicable copyright law.
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to our Services for anyone who violates these Terms, without notice and at our sole discretion.

Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice
Digital Age Parenting provides general educational content and parenting information on topics related to technology, digital safety, screen time, and child development. Our content is intended to inform, support, and empower parents — but it is not a substitute for professional advice.
Important: Nothing on this website, in our courses, or in our membership content constitutes professional psychological, therapeutic, mental health, legal, financial, or medical advice. Do not rely on our content as a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional.
Specifically:
- Not psychological or therapeutic advice. Our content may reference research in child development, psychology, and behavior, but we are not licensed therapists, psychologists, or mental health professionals. If your child is experiencing mental health challenges, please consult a licensed mental health professional.
- Not legal advice. Information about laws, regulations, platform policies, or your rights is provided for general educational purposes only. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time. For legal questions specific to your situation, consult a qualified attorney.
- Not medical advice. We do not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or health advice. For concerns about your child's physical or mental health, consult a licensed healthcare provider.
Our content reflects the knowledge and perspectives of our contributors at the time of publication. The digital landscape changes rapidly, and while we strive to keep our content current, we make no warranty that all information is complete, accurate, or up to date.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Age Parenting and its owners, directors, employees, partners, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — our Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:
- Reliance on information or content obtained through our Services.
- Errors, omissions, interruptions, or delays in our content or website availability.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
- Conduct of third parties on or through our Services.
- Any other matter relating to our Services.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our Services exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Membership & Course Refund Policy
We stand behind our content and want you to feel confident purchasing from us. We offer the following refund policy for our paid products:
Not satisfied? Request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, no questions asked.
Online courses
If you purchase a course and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of purchase. To request a refund, email us at hello@digitalageparents.com with your name, the email used at purchase, and the course name. Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Membership subscriptions
New members may request a full refund within 14 days of their initial payment. If you cancel your membership after 14 days, you will retain access through the end of your current billing period, and no further payments will be charged. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods beyond the 14-day window.
Annual membership upgrades
If you upgrade from a monthly to an annual membership, the 14-day refund window applies from the date of the annual payment. Prior monthly payments are not eligible for refund at the time of upgrade.
Exceptions
Refunds may be declined if we determine, at our sole discretion, that a pattern of refund abuse is occurring (e.g., purchasing, downloading all materials, and immediately requesting a refund). We reserve this right to protect our content creators and the integrity of our programs.
For any refund questions, contact hello@digitalageparents.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Accounts & Subscriptions
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at hello@digitalageparents.com.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or making a purchase, and to keep your information current.
Membership access
Membership access is granted to a single individual and may not be shared. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that show evidence of credential sharing.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@digitalageparents.com. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically trigger a refund unless within the 14-day refund window described in Section 6.
Termination by us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we determine is appropriate. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before termination.
Third-Party Links & Services
Our website and content may contain links to third-party websites, apps, platforms, or services — including social media platforms, research sources, product recommendations, and tools we discuss in the context of digital parenting. These links are provided for your convenience and information only.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Linking to a website does not constitute an endorsement of that site, its operators, or its content. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of service of any third-party sites you visit.
Some links on our site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them. We only recommend products and services we genuinely believe are useful to our audience, and affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content. Where affiliate links are used, this will be disclosed.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use and any disputes arising from or relating to them or your use of our Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
If you are a consumer located outside the United States, you may also have rights under the laws of your own country. These Terms do not limit rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — such as by emailing subscribers or posting a notice on our website. However, it is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Your continued use of our Services after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using our Services.
Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, wish to report a violation, or need to contact us for any legal or account-related matter, please reach out. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days.
