Why Schools Choose Us

A partner that speaks your community's language

We know that every school community is different. Our programs are built to meet families where they are — with warmth, evidence, and real-world practicality.

Evidence-Based, Not Fear-Based

Our curriculum is grounded in peer-reviewed developmental psychology and digital literacy research — not sensational headlines. Parents leave empowered, not anxious.

Flexible Scheduling & Format

Evenings, weekends, school nights — virtual or in-person. We fit into your calendar, not the other way around. Multi-session series span the semester at a pace that works for your community.

Whole-Community Approach

We work with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators together. When the whole school speaks the same language around digital wellness, real change happens at home and in the classroom.

Custom Resources, Ready to Use

Every engagement includes co-branded takeaways: printed guides, digital handouts, follow-up resource portals, and parent newsletters your school can share all year long.

School Testimonials

What educators and parents are saying

Real feedback from school leaders and parents who've brought Digital Age Parenting to their communities.

★★★★★
"Our parent turnout for the Screen Time & Boundaries workshop was the highest we've seen for any event in three years. The facilitator struck exactly the right tone — warm, non-judgmental, and backed by real research. Parents left with something they could actually use that night at dinner."
MR
Maria Reyes
Principal, Westlake Elementary — Austin, TX
★★★★★
"The staff professional development session completely changed how our counseling team talks to parents about phone use. We finally have a shared vocabulary and concrete referral resources. I've already recommended DAP to two neighboring districts."
JP
James Pendleton
Director of Student Services, Northridge USD — CA
★★★★★
"We booked the semester-long parent series and it transformed our school's culture around tech. By the fourth session, parents were messaging each other on our school app sharing what they were trying at home. The monthly newsletter kept the momentum going between workshops."
TN
Tara Nguyen
PTA President, Harbor View Middle School — OR
★★★★★
"As a pediatric practice, the licensing package has been a game-changer. Our waiting room resources spark real conversations, and the anticipatory guidance talking points save providers 10 minutes per well-visit. The 'DAP-Aligned Practice' designation has also brought us new patients from local schools."

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from school leaders

For virtual workshops, we typically need at least two weeks of lead time. For in-person events, we recommend four to six weeks to allow for logistics, material printing, and promotion within your school community. That said, we do occasionally accommodate shorter timelines for virtual sessions — just let us know your situation in the inquiry form.

Absolutely. Customization is central to how we work. During your discovery call, we'll ask about your community's specific concerns — whether that's social media among middle schoolers, AI and academic integrity for high school parents, or foundational screen time guidance for an elementary audience. Your facilitator tailors the content, slide deck, and take-home materials to fit your exact context.

Yes. We believe all families deserve access to quality digital wellness education regardless of a school's budget. We offer reduced pricing and flexible payment arrangements for Title I schools, community-based organizations, and qualifying non-profits. Please mention this in your inquiry form and we'll work with you to find an arrangement that makes sense.

Workshop packages are live, facilitated events where one of our certified educators presents to your community — parents, staff, or both. They include custom content, live Q&A, printed materials, and follow-up resources. Content licenses, on the other hand, give your school or organization ongoing, self-directed access to our full library of guides, handouts, assessments, and digital tools — which you can distribute, print, and use independently throughout the year. Many of our Annual School Partners combine both.

Yes, with your permission. For virtual workshops, we can provide a recording link that you can share with parents who couldn't attend live — accessible for 30 days post-event. This is especially helpful for families with shift-work schedules or multiple caregivers who wanted to attend. Recording availability is included in our virtual packages at no additional cost.

Our facilitators hold advanced degrees in fields including developmental psychology, educational technology, child and adolescent counseling, and social work. Each facilitator has a minimum of five years working directly with schools and families, and all content is reviewed by our scientific advisory board, which includes licensed psychologists, pediatricians, and ISTE-certified educators. You'll receive your facilitator's full bio in advance so you can share it with your community.
